What is the role?

Based in Australia, we are now actively recruiting a Business Development Lead who will perform market research and analysis to understand industry trends and to identify customer needs, use cases, and opportunities for new offer growth categories (cloud connect capable) for our partner communities. Responsible for identifying, evaluating and recommending new offer opportunities consistent with business strategy and IT Channel go-to-market - evaluate new potential offers through proof of concept method with targeted partner/reseller community and develop business case plan, market strategy, value proposition, forecasts, and create product information and sales tools (presentations, competitive comparisons, configuration tools, etc.) for new hardware/software products or solutions.  Proven high energy, self-starter to work closely with the IT channel and line of business teams on technical and business requirements. Your key responsibilities will include\:


·         Working with cross-functional teams to define, develop and launch quality cost effective products and solutions

·         Supporting new product launch and introduction activities in conjunction with the zone sales and business teams, and is responsible for supporting product training and delivery of new product content for marketing collateral and product web pages

·         As necessary, work with other Product Managers who manage power, power distribution, racks, management, and software products to develop complete system level solutions for regional customers.

·         Technical or business degree with professional marketing/sales/product management experience with demonstrated skills in market research, business case development, pricing, competitive analysis and market positioning/segmentation

·         Strong knowledge of IT channel; MBA preferred

·         High energy individual with strong business acumen and regional or global product experience

·         Excellent at prioritizing and demonstrating quantitative and analytical acumen

·         Ability to build teamwork in a cross cultural environment, rapport with cross functional teams, and interact with sales management, Marcom to Sales people to customers

·         Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

·         Domestic and international travel as required to support the business.
