What is the role?

Based in Dandenong, Victoria, we are now actively recruiting a Continuous Improvement Engineer. Responsible for leading a team of technical staff in direct support of clients’ systems.  The purpose of this role is to support the business in the planning, implementation, monitoring of lean methods and process. This includes the improvement of DC office based processes and the operational activities in selected Pacific Distribution Centres. Reporting to the Logistics Performance Manager - Pacific your key responsibilities will include\:

  • To assess and coach the stakeholders and process owners in order to successfully deliver the SPS requirements for all Domains.
  • To act as a resource to support the key initiatives identified in the Pacific Supply Chain plans.

  • Bachelor Degree in any Engineering field
  • Familiarity with standard Distribution Centre and / or Manufacturing processes and flows
  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing lean or engineering role.
  • Technical skills in Lean Manufacturing, SPS, Kaizen, VSM.
  • Computer literate, Good Interpersonal and Leadership skills.
  • Familiar with the SAP system.
  • Fluent in oral and written English
