We are currently looking to appoint a Drill & Blast Engineer. • Use the data generated by the drill monitoring systems as a major input to the blast design process
  • Ensure that the drill and blast software is used effectively in managing the consumption of product and accessories and use all available data to optimise the design and execution of blasts
  • Undertake fragmentation analysis to optimise dig ability of material at the same time as ensuring lump yield is maximised.
  • Provide technical input into the medium and long term planning process, handing over blast masters and recommending key parameters for the calculation of drill metres and explosives consumption
  • Oversee the management of blasting agents and accessory stock levels, through recording of consumption and placement of orders.
