The Opportunity

Rare opportunity for an Operations leader with international experience to drive growth and expansion across our International Franchise community. You will oversee and support Retail Food Group’s (RFG) International Franchise network with a focus on growing and expanding the business in terms of sales, revenue and systems. You will also be expected to lead, motivate and inspire an established team.

Role requirements

  • Drive growth and development within existing markets as well as coffee and ancillary sales
  • Ensure international supply chain and product portfolio into brand systems is supported
  • Champion and deliver learning and development programs for existing and new Master Franchise Partners
  • Develop partnerships through truly understanding Master Franchise Partner needs and identify new opportunities
  • Identify, monitor and manage at risk Master Franchise Partners and compliance
  • Maintain appropriate business cost control strategies within international operations
  • Lead, coach, motivate and support the International Operations team to reach and exceed KPI targets
  • Drive continuous improvement plans for key financial and non-financial metrics
  • Provide support at a senior level to all Master Franchise Partners to sustain effective relationships and communication
  • Achieve effective brand system and business communication
  • Leverage knowledge from other RFG brand systems to develop common growth drivers

Individual attributes

  • Experience in a similar role or extensive experience in a food, retail or franchise organisation
  • Understanding of franchise operations and experience developing international markets
  • Experience in multinational business operations preferred
  • Flexibility to travel internationally as required
  • Exposure to cross department business functions at a senior level
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to maximise the performance of diverse teams
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally across all levels of management
  • High level of financial and commercial acumen
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated market knowledge
  • Self-motivated and a drive to succeed
