The Content Producer – Lifestyle sits within the Content team in the Media and Content Line of Business. The content teams – Lifestyle, News, Video and Social - work together to drive audience, experience and awareness. The role of the Content team is to inform and inspire through a rich and engaging content offering. We create an emotional connection with the audience, enable conversation around property and the home, inspire our audience to dream big and entertain daydreamers at any and all stages of their property journey.  

We’re looking for a Content Producer (residing in either Sydney or Melbourne) who lives and breathes interior design, home décor and all things home brand. Do you know all the styling tricks from the cushion chop to the casual blanket ‘throw’?
The Content Producer – Lifestyle supports the Managing Editor – Lifestyle and Lifestyle team to implement and execute’s Lifestyle strategy. You will be creating rich and engaging content every day, and optimising editorial to ensure maximum traffic and engagement.

The Content Producer – Lifestyle supports the Content Team in the following ways:

  • Develop engaging and appropriate Lifestyle content for a range of audiences, working with either a specific brief or by instigating and ideating original concepts
  • Ensure all content is SEO optimised, including keywords and integrated links to other on-site content
  • Daily creation of content, including writing, subbing, building and scheduling into
  • Interviewing experts in the home lifestyle space and identifying key opportunities for content partnerships and new story leads
  • Monitoring and regular reporting on Lifestyle content performance
  • Identifying commercial opportunities for content
  • Liaising with PR companies and other partners to create competitions and other opportunities for increased engagement
  • 3+ years experience in editorial content production across digital, magazines and/or television
  • Preferred: Journalism or Communications degree
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and writing for keyword environment
  • Experience using content management systems, WordPress preferred
  • Solid editing, sub-editing and proof reading skills
  • Keen eye for detail and superb grammar skills
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Positive, can-do attitude and collborative approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
