We are currently looking for dynamic, motivated Graduate Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our Graduate Program. The program is of twelve months duration.

The Lady Davidson Private Hospital Graduate Nurse Program provides a positive and supportive environment in which graduate nurses are encouraged to develop both clinically and professionally while gaining exposure to a variety of rehabilitation specialties.

What our graduate program offers:

Rotations -

  • 4 Rotations: Approximately 3 months on each of our rehabilitation wards (Cardiac & Reconditioning, Orthopaedic-shoulders/hips/MVAs, Neurological and Orthopaedic-backs and knees)

Support -

  • Full Orientation program
  • Supernumerary time
  • Study days
  • Support from the Staff Development Coordinator and Preceptors
  • New Graduate Nurse In-services

Lady Davidson Private Hospital is one of the largest private dedicated rehabilitation hospitals in Australia and is set on the edge of the beautiful Ku-ring-gai National Park. With 115 inpatient rehabilitation beds and an extensive Day Program, the hospital has been designed to promote rehabilitation with the use of five well-equipped gymnasiums, a large hydrotherapy pool and an independent living assessment unit.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Ability to work a rotating roster
  • Commitment to providing the highest standards of health care
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Display good written and oral communication skills
  • On-going commitment to professional development

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous clinical placements in an acute medical-surgical and/or rehabilitation settings
