The Role

Due to internal movement, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Portfolio Analyst to join our Credit & Collections (C&C) area in an exciting role that will generate insights into the performance and root causes of issues across specified debt portfolios. Additionally, this role offers the successful candidate the chance to support management and operational teams to understand performance and take appropriate actions to achieve desired operational and financial outcomes. 

Reporting into the Portfolio Performance Manager your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with C&C operational teams across agreed operational and financial performance targets for the specified debt portfolio
  • Work closely with C&C strategy and C&C teams to help identify improvement opportunities and inform changes to strategies / processes to optimise portfolio performance
  • Support the Portfolio Performance Manager in developing C&C management reports on performance, root-causes of issues and improvement opportunities of a specified debt portfolio
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to provide commentary for management reporting
  • Link data from several different sources to provide analytical insights, eliminate factors impacting data accuracy and build processes to maintain and streamline robust and accurate access to such sources
  • Support Operational Reporting team in identifying and implementing improvements to operational reports, to drive greater insights into performance of debt portfolios
  • Strong communications skills, in particular the ability to communicate technical information to a broad audience, alongside stakeholder engagement and management skills will see you succeed in this role

Is This You?

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Significant experience in a reporting and analytical environment with data interrogation skills
  • Advanced expertise using SAS
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate technical information to a broad audience
  • Strong report writing skills with an ability to extract useful insights
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Contact Centre/Collections Environment preferred
  • Avaya knowledge would be advantageous
