The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to be a part of Motorways Division within Roads & Maritime Services. This position plays a key role in providing effective, efficient and timely project related administrative control to support the delivery of the Motorways Delivery programs of work. You will provide functional support to the Project Control Branch and will report to Project Control Lead.

 

We are looking for a Project Officer who has ability to implement and manage systems to regularly monitor project and contract performance information. You will have experience and/or ability in administrative services, records management and the preparation of reports and correspondence. You have well-developed communication, and facilitation skills, with the demonstrated ability to deal tactfully and effectively with people at all levels. You are able to work independently, organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines, including developing follow-up systems, collating and analysing information and preparing logical reports. You should have good analytical and problem solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility and have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office software applications.

Remuneration package - RMS USS Grade 6 ($79,371 - $ 84,456), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
