Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Justice sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community. CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.

As part of our ongoing initiatives to reduce re-offending, we are now in need of a Senior Research Analyst to manage the conduct of complex research, statistical undertakings and projects in line with CSNSW core operational and corporate performance objectives.  This role will see you assist Senior Executives and Managers in achieving strategic objectives and targets through best practice research, statistical analysis and evaluation methodologies.


You will lead and be supported by Research Analysts in your role of generating and communicating complex statistical findings to diverse audiences. With your strong communication, planning and organisational skills you will be involved in multiple projects and respond to urgent requests for research whilst meeting stringent deadlines. You will have qualifications in Social / Behavioural Sciences and a strong research background which will support your theoretical and practical findings.
