About the Opportunity

 

To identify, analyse and facilitate improvements to business systems, processes and workflows aligned with the overall business and strategic requirements and the Department’s operational plans.

 

There are three (3) temporary roles in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013 for a period of up 30 June 2019.

 

A Recruitment Pool may be created to fill similar roles for both ongoing and temporary opportunities if and as they arise.

To apply candidates must submit a covering letter (2 pages maximum) which includes a response to the two (2) targeted questions below plus an up-to-date resume which clearly details their skills and experience as relevant to this role.

 

1.Please describe a time when you identified an emerging issue and suggested potential improvements to business processes in consultation with external and internal stakeholders in an environment of ongoing change. What was the outcome?

 

2.Give an example of how you have had to negotiate or influence a decision to deliver on an outcome within a specified timeframe with limited resources. What was the greatest challenge you faced in achieving this?

 

Part of the assessment process may include additional online capability testing, skills testing or work samples in accordance with the new Government Sector Employment Act 2013, therefore you may be contacted to participate. You will also be asked to complete a Health Declaration Form in later stages of the assessment process.
