The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Travel Choices Program Coordinator to be a part of our Travel Choices team within the Transport Coordination Division. This position provides program coordination, communications development and stakeholder management for the Travel Choices program which is designed to effectively manage travel demand and minimise disruption for businesses and commuters during construction of Sydney transport projects and create sustained travel behaviour change.
Reporting to the Travel Choices Program Manager, you will operate with a high level of autonomy within the requirements of the agreed work plans. You will contribute to the day-to-day management and coordination of the Travel Choices Program and associated travel demand management activities during the delivery of major Sydney infrastructure projects, including the CBD and South-East Light Rail, to support the effective management of travel demand and disruption. You will undertake research and analysis including reporting on opportunities that encourage travel behaviour change and more sustainable methods of moving in, out and around the CBD.
We are looking for an individual who has demonstrated project management experience with a focus on delivering results, who can coordinate work on multiple program activities simultaneously, juggling priorities with a customer centric approach to ensure the best outcomes.

Essential requirements

• Previous experience in communications, social marketing and/or project management.
