The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Major Stakeholder to be part of the Parramatta Light Rail project within Transport for NSW. This position plays a key role in the Parramatta Light Rail project and reports to the Director of Communication and Engagement.

You will lead and manage the development of relationships with key business leaders, business organisation, government agencies and major land owners and managers to assist the Parramatta Light rail (PLR) project team to negotiate solutions and to coordinate the messaging on transport initiatives across the Westmead to Strathfield corridor. The role influences key stakeholder groups through effective partnering arrangements to ensure understanding, recognition of the governments Parramatta Light Rail Program, cooperation in the planning and delivery of transport initiatives and plays a lead role in the implementation of transport strategies.

We are looking for candidates who are effective leaders, capable of inspiring and influencing a team to deliver a unified message to the community relating to Parramatta Light Rail projects. You have the capacity to develop people and drive change, delivering effective communication strategies that positively impact relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You work in a highly collaborative manner and possess the ability to deliver solutions to a wide range of stakeholders thereby providing innovation and best practice in strategic communications.

Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
