The Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to be a part of our Finance and Investment team within TfNSW. 

We are looking for an articulate, experienced Project Manager with excellent communication skills who can contribute to strategic planning, policy development and decision making around property development opportunities, whilst also assisting with developing innovative or alternative development strategies to fund projects.

As an accomplished individual with excellent stakeholder management skills and wide-range knowledge of all aspects of property development, you will be tasked with assessing property development proposals which involve undertaking research including zoning of property sites, benchmarking commercial, residential and retail property, and constructing or providing insight of property feasibility models. 

The primary purpose of the role is to provide specialist property development support to the Commercial Development of the Property Section in identifying, assessing and negotiating commercial development opportunities.

This role reports to the Development Manager, and requires management of contractors and/or consultants as required.

Essential requirements

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Broad knowledge of all aspects of property development and precinct renewal.
• Demonstrated experience in development construction or provision of oversight of property development feasibility.
• An understanding of legislative and planning frameworks.
