The Opportunity


We have an exciting opportunity for a Precinct Manager to be a part of our Operations and Planning Sydney team within the Transport Coordination Division. This position plays a key role in developing options for key transport operations infrastructure improvement projects within a nominated section of the Sydney Metropolitan area in order to bring about front line service level improvements for commuters under the direction of the Principal Manager, Planning for the section.

The role works with stakeholders to achieve front line service level improvements and negotiates and oversees the implementation of integrated transport plans, additionally supporting the Principal Manager Planning in the development of emergency transport response plans to mitigate the impact of transport disruptions to Sydney transport commuters and the assessment of significant Development Applications that impact the transport network.


We are looking for a planning professional who has demonstrated project management experience with a focus on delivering results, advanced team management skills, the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a customer centric approach.

Essential requirements


• Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or demonstrated equivalent transport planning experience
• A sound understanding of the NSW transport network and infrastructure, government structures, procedures and protocols
• Ability to work outside normal working hours on a regular basis
