The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Reliability Engineer to join our Asset Management within Sydney Trains. This position plays a key role in optimising best practice asset management, reliability and safety of the network by monitoring and analysing asset condition and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.

 

Reporting to the Network Analytics & Performance Manager, this role requires collaboration across the business to understand asset risks and coordinate network performance improvement initiatives.

 

We are looking for someone qualified in a relevant Engineering or similar quantitative discipline with demonstrated practical experience in applying asset management and reliability principles to rail infrastructure or equivalent complex operational systems.

 

To be successful in this role you will show research, planning, data analysis and problem solving skills and experience and the ability to work as part of a team that will help Sydney Trains meet the challenges of increasing demand for rail services.
