Classification: Environment Officer Class 4
Employment Status: Ongoing – Full Time (1 position available)
Location: Newcastle

This role requires sound experience providing business, coordination and administration support with proven capacity to support high profile projects in a high pressure environment.
Assist with the collation of confidential and often urgent submissions and responses, reports, briefing notes, Cabinet documents, Parliamentary Questions and House Notes, ministerial correspondence and advice, presentations, minutes and recommendations for approval, in accordance with EPA and parliamentary process.
Undertake diary management, organise travel arrangements, coordinate venue hire and catering, manage information requests, draft correspondence and organise equipment and resource orders for meetings for the director.

Agency overview
The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is the state’s primary environmental regulator. We work with business, government and the community to manage and reduce pollution and waste. The EPA is a separate agency within the Planning and Environment cluster. We respond to pollution incidents and emergencies and enforce environmental regulations, monitor compliance and investigate reports of pollution and develop environmental policy and programs.
Primary purpose of the role: Provide business, coordination and administration services to support the effective and efficient operations of the branch.
