Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Medicine
College of Veterinary Medicine

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team of academic and professional staff at Western Australia’s only Veterinary School.

The Role

The School of Veterinary and Life Sciences is looking for an experienced small animal medicine internist to make a significant contribution as the School continues to strengthen its program by expanding teaching and research activities in the area. You will be expected to contribute to the medicine referral service within Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital, and will be involved in clinical teaching and research in small animal medicine. The veterinary hospital receives a high caseload across all specialist disciplines and is supported by a team of outstanding technical staff.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in Veterinary Science registrable in Western Australia;
  • Either a PhD or evidence of near completion of a doctoral degree, or other postgraduate or professional specialist qualifications (Board certification, FANZCVS); and
  • A high level of written and oral communication skills and recent experience in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate level are also essential.
