We are currently seeking an experienced Tenancy Manager to oversee a range of duties and administrative tasks associated with the smooth running of Multicap Housing, based within our busy Facilities Team in Eight Mile Plains, QLD.

Your new role

Our successful applicant will be responsible for managing the development of Multicap Housing, with other primary duties including:

  • Managing rooming agreements, fees and associated tenancy tasks
  • Maintaining all property arrangements including BTA leases, tenancies, licence to occupy, MoU, room hire etc. in consoltation with the General Manager Facilities
  • Maintaining and updating registers in relation to property and tenancy
  • Developing revenue and expense models and report on budgets and activities as required
  • Preparing and editing a range of documents, including letters, digital photographs, email communications, spreadsheets, floor plans, and other documents as required by the organization

What you bring

To be considered for the position, you will ideally have a positive attitude, be innovative, enjoy working as part of a high functioning team and be able to work flexibly on a range of projects with great communication skills, including:

  • A minimum of two year's experience in a similar role
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage interactions in a cordial and professional and helpful manner, providing appropriate advice and information to a diverse range of people
  • A positive attitude towards people with disabilities and the willingness to work within Multicap's Values and Code of Conduct in order to meet our Customer's needs
  • Well developed capacity to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, work to deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
  • Prior industry or sector experience
  • Proven ability to exercise judgement and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload to meet deadlines
