RIG Installations is located at Kooragang Island in the heart of the Hunter Valley's coal loading and export complex. It was established in 1987 to provide quality, reliable and professional services in fabrication, installation, maintenance of mechanical plant, structural steelwork and piping - including non-ferrous materials.

RIG was acquired by Monadelphous, a leading national engineering group, providing engineering construction, maintenance and industrial services to the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors, in 2017.

RIG is currently seeking experienced Roof Plumbers in the Newcastle region for casual project work.

Successful applicants must:

  • Be based local to Newcastle Region

  • Be available for casual work with a view to a permanent role

  • Current local Mine inductions would be favourable

  • Must hold certificate of proficiency in Trade Qualification and relevant licence

  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience within the industry

  • Must hold current Drivers licence, Working at Heights and Confined Space Training

  • Produce Proof of Right to work in Australia

The successful applicants will have the highest regard for safety and will be required to actively contribute in HSE based activities to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of themselves and others.

You will have the ability to be flexible to deliver in a continually evolving environment and possess strong team work ethics.
