Our Financial Services team

Our Financial Services team operates within the broader national Capital Markets & Corporate (CMC) Group and has a recognised market-leading practice. The Sydney Funds practice is led by Stuart Johnson and also includes partners Michael Lawson and Nathan Cahill. This position is to work closely with Stuart who is one of Australia's leading managed funds and capital markets lawyers and Joint Lead of the CMC Group.

Your role

An excellent opportunity currently exists for a junior to mid-level lawyer to join the team.

Your role will be to work with the leading team of senior experienced lawyers who specialise in regulated and unregulated investment funds (including acting for stapled entities). The role provides a diversity of market-leading work, both advisory and transactional in the listed and unlisted space, including fund formation, fund advisory, fund investment, capital raisings (eg. IPOs, entitlement offers and convertible bond offers) and M&A transactions. This is a great opportunity for career advancement and gaining experience in a successful top-tier investment funds team.
