Golding is currently seeking a Servicemen to be located at our BMA Gregory Mine near the township of Emerald.

Servicemen – BMA Gregory Mine

The Site:
Golding Contractors operates and maintains a significant fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment at BMA’s Open Cut Coal, Gregory Mine site. Our contract includes the removal of over 18m BCM of overburden per annum, along with a coal haulage contract also.
 

Gregory Site Equipment:

  • Komatsu PC3000’s
  • Hitachi Ex2500, 1800 &1200’s
  • Caterpillar 785 & 777’s
  • Caterpillar 16H’s
  • Komatsu 785 Truck’s
  • Cat & Komatsu dozer’s D10, 375, 475
     
Key role tasks:

  • Servicing heavy earthmoving equipment including Hitachi, Caterpillar and Komatsu
  • Working as part of a team to ensure minimal downtime of production equipment
  • Adhering to strict safety standards and protocols
  • Working in a team environment with minimal supervision and drive to succeed.
     
Key capability requirements:

  • Accredited Trade Ticket (Preferable)
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Considerable experience in the servicing of Komatsu and Hitachi heavy mining equipment
  • Previous experience with Heavy Earthmoving
  • Previous open pit mine site experience
  • A current coal board medical, BMA & Generic Coal Induction is preferred


If successful, you will enjoy the benefit of being a permanent employee of Golding contractors (including Sick & Annual leave entitlements).  You will be employed on our Gregory 4/4 day shift roster working 12 hours shifts. 

Candidates who live locally or provide their own accommodation in Emerald or Capella will receive an additional $280.00 per fortnight as a local accommodation payment. There is Camp accommodation in Emerald but is subject to availability.
