We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer - OHLE for work on our Level Crossing Removal Project based in Mentone. This large-scale project will benefit train users, pedestrians, cyclists and drivers by improving safety, reducing congestion and enabling more frequent train services.

In this role, you will support the Project Manager to deliver overhead wiring works on the project.


•    Assist with the preparation of scope documentation for OHLE works
•    Assist with the development of reports and associated tools to identify and correct problem areas
•    Lead the detailed planning for specific project activities, as assigned by the Project Manager
•    Manage all aspects of allocated projects in conjunction with relevant stakeholders and contractors to progress projects to implementation and commissioning
•    Manage the external stakeholder relationship of the project to achieve a positive working relationship with MTM projects
•    Ensure that assigned work duties are completed on time and within budget

To be successful in the role, your previous experience will include:

•    Tertiary qualification in Engineering admitting to corporate membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia
•    Experience in engineering principles of planning, report preparation and scheduling
•    Delivery experience in multi-disciplinary rail projects
•    Ability to assess functional specifications for compliance
