Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) is a multi-award winning organisation and we pride ourselves on our team of high performing professionals who are talented, inclusive and safety focused.

We are currently seeking a Supplier Interface Coordinator for work on our Level Crossing Removal Project. This large-scale project will benefit train users, pedestrians, cyclists and drivers by improving safety, reducing congestion and enabling more frequent train services.

In this role, you will assist that Engineering Interface Manager on all Engineering deliverables and design reviews.


• Assist in the preparation and maintain all required documentation and records to facilitate and progress the project throughout the project life of the project cycle.
• Participate in the safety in design process of design packages
• Assist in the standard waiver approval process, writing and presenting
• Consult with all stakeholders and interested parties to achieve practical and industrial harmony
• Interface with colleagues on a common project with a "best for the business" approach to problem solving
• Liaise with stakeholders and key MTM internal project groups, other associated parties in order to meet project targets objectives and milestones

To be successful in the role, your previous experience will include:

• Tertiary qualification in Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering
• 1 – 3 years technical engineering experience desirable
• Demonstrated engineering design experience
• Demonstrated understanding in Project Management
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• An ability to build relationships with stakeholders and effectively manage competing stakeholder demands across projects
