Learn while you earn. A traineeship is an employment-based training program; the majority of the training will be conducted on the job. Undertaking a qualification with MercyCare will not only recognise your existing knowledge and skills but develop relevant skills to help you grow and develop your career. We are offering two Certificate III Early Childhood Education & Care Traineeships, based at Mercycare’s Early Learning Centre, Wembley and Bedford.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for a MercyCare traineeship, you need to be:

  • Aboriginality is a genuine requirement for this position as per Section 50(d) of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1984;
  • Commit to working a minimum of 24 hours per week;
  • Not have previously gained a similar qualification or higher level;
  • National Police Clearance no older than 6 months;
  • Working with Children check.
