    This role sits within the Project Execution team, which is responsible for managing the operational execution of projects initiated through client change, Government legislation, internal or external demands. 
    This role plays an integral part in achieving Mercer’s Consumer Wealth strategic plan by both managing and participating in multiple projects including large client installations
    The role will take the lead on identified projects and team leadership that will allow the business to successfully implement change initiatives to meet its strategic objectives.  This role is required to provide leadership within the PM practice and communicate and interact superbly with team members, senior internal stakeholders as well as external clients.  
    We seek applications from experienced project managers with ideally previous experience within superannuation, insurance and/or financial services. You will be adept at managing projects from set up (including governance structures and stakeholder meetings), project planning and defining of metrics – through to project execution and subsequent closure.
    In addition you will possess:
    • Demonstrable end-to-end project management experience across varied, multiple projects
    • Large client installations, SFT’s or transition exposure highly regarded
    • Ideally Financial Services background and specifically superannuation/insurance
    • A mix of both business and IT (understanding) project experience.
    • Ideally some external high profile client-facing experience
    • Well-honed people leadership capability
    • Outstanding rapport building, problem solving and influencing capability: to liaise with internal and external stakeholders for mutually beneficial outcomes
    • Familiarity in operating within PMO governance
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Formal project management qualification will be highly regarded but not essential
    • Strong PC skills including MS Excel and MS Project
