    This is a key leadership role in the Pacific Consumer Marketing team for an experienced Marketing Manager who wants to make an impact.  For the Mercer’s flagship superannuation product, you’ll build, implement and optimise an innovative and highly commercial Consumer Marketing strategy, communications and associated program of work for Mercer Super each year. This includes the delivery of an integrated marketing plan and a broad range of customer marketing and communications initiatives end-to-end including engagement, retention and optimisation of consumer (B2C) and Mercer client (B2B2C) opportunities.
    As a Marketing Leader at Mercer within the Financial Services business, you will be a role model of marketing and lateral leadership to your 2-3 direct reports, colleagues on the marketing leadership team, the broader marketing community, and business. You will play an influential role in our consumer transformation program to influence a step change improvement in customer experience across the business. You will lead the content strategy for consumer channels across Australia and NZ including websites, direct marketing and call centre. You will:
    • Develop and embed a culture of solving real customer problems and collaborating with customer and internal teams to develop solutions that solve these challenges
    • Develop and pioneer best in class customer journeys that deliver customer value and commercial returns 
    • Generate product/service propositions which address specific gaps in the market or which enhance existing offerings
    • Play a lead role in the development of a comprehensive content strategy for consumer channels across Australia and New Zealand, including websites, marketing support and call centre
    The successful candidate will be a passionate senior customer marketer with a demonstrable track record of delivering customer focused, commercial outcomes, in a complex multi-channel B2C services/retail consumer environment. Ideally your background will be in developing and delivering  end-to-end marketing programs in the Services sector.  You will have a flexible approach, and thrive on innovation and change that’s balanced with attention to detail and structured thinking, 
    Success in the role will rely on your well-honed people and lateral leadership skills, strong commercial nous and a strategic mind-set. You’ll display impressive communication skills and have the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels. You will have a self-motivated focus on achievement and driving a flexible team oriented approach to change and innovation.
