We currently have a vacancy for a committed and experienced Fitness for Work Specialist reporting to the WHS Manager to focus on early injury management and fitness for work for employees across Victoria. The successful applicant will provide fitness for work and injury management leadership, guidance and support to our Aged Care Group facilities and Support Centre through the development of fitness for work assessments and injury management plans for work and non-work related injuries This role will be based at our Support Office in Brighton and requires travel between our 6 Aged Care Facilities.

With at least 5 years experience in injury management, with an allied health background you will act as a resource and support person and mentor to Managers in VIC in all aspects of Managers’ day to day injury management obligations and fitness for work strategies. You will develop Return to Work and Health and Wellbeing Plans for work and non-work related injuries, job task analysis tools and advise and support manual handling champions.

We are looking for someone who is passionate, engaged and a dynamic specialist with either experience or interest in working within aged care. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise and develop your skills and be part of a great team. This position is permanent part time (approx. 20 hours per week). There is some flexibility with the hours and days of work.
