Council is calling for applications from people who love aquatics and have aquatics qualifications.

We’re after passionate and committed people who have a strong focus on customer service and thrive on motivating others – may that be in teaching children how to swim and be safe around water, improving the fitness of adults, or being on deck and ensuring the safety of pool patrons.

To join our Aquatics teams you’ll need to have a current Working with Children Check and either:

  • Certificate III in Aquatics and Community Recreation; and
  • RSLSSA Pool Lifeguard Licence, Pool Operators certificate and current First Aid certificate.


  • Current CPR certificate; and
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate or WETS Aqua Instructor Certificate.

As our aquatics centres are open 7 days a week, we need people to work across weekends and weekdays across both long and short shifts.
