What this job involves
As General Manager for a National Industrial portfolio, you’ll provide proactive recommendations to our clients & deliver positive financial and market outcomes for them. Reporting directly into the Head of Property & Asset management, you’ll be looked at as the expert in the Industrial Property market.
You’ll be responsible for pursuing new business strategies, maximising lease and rental negotiations, timely & accurate reporting to clients, and provide support to Direct Reports. You’ll deliver exceptional performance levels in accordance with the client KPIs.
Your key result areas include, but are not limited to:
•           Provide effective leadership to the group
•           Develop personal understanding of client goals
•           Deliver detailed recommendations & strategic advice to the clients
•           Be familiar with local market trends at all times and industry changes
•           Active involvement in the growth of the Industrial Portfolio

You’ll have proven experience working in a senior role within the Industrial sector and have a solid understanding of Property Management & Industrial Leasing. You’ll have the ability to handle complex conversations with business owners, executives and high-level real estate decision makers.
An ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information – and translate this into strategic deliverables – is essential. We’ll also expect you to have great time management and organizational skills and be good at meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written & spoken communication skills are vital and of course, you’ll be good at building team relationships & interacting effectively with business partners.
