This internship provides on the job training and, under the guidance of the Senior Support Business Operation Financial Data tracking, analysis & reporting for the AP/GCG CIO TSS Portfolio you will have experience and

  1. Learn and support the Business Operation and Financial Reporting responsibilities working with the BOM and remote FA:
  • Data extract for the financial status of Department ledger
  • Data extract for the HRA and HC cost rate analysis
  • Development of the regular monthly billing data tracking worksheet
  • Assist in the Department cost & Billing issue identification, analysis and resolution
  • Prepare financial status reporting template and assist in the monthly financial status reporting.
  1. Set up the structure for filing financial documentation/communication artefacts into the shared repository

Assist in developing the framework/worksheet to support ‘what if’ analysis on specific list of scenarios to support the decision making process


Key Skills/Knowledge include: 
  • Business and/or Financial background
  • Data and Trend Analysis and forecasting skills
  • Data extract (such as QMF, Brio reporting) skills
Intermediate skills with Excel and/or other worksheet template/report tools.
Skills/Knowledge Preferred:
 
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good verbal communication and meeting facilitation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within the virtual team (with the remote Financial Analyst team)
  • Flexibility in working hours to adjust to the India and Asia Pacific countries timezone.

Duration: 6 months.
Start: June  2018

Study backgrounds: Maths/ Actuarial Studies/ Commerce/ HR

To be eligible to apply:
Intern applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Have Australian citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
• Have New Zealand citizenship or New Zealand Permanent Residency
• Have at least a credit average from respective universities
• You will be enrolled in a tertiary degree at University in Australia/ New Zealand – Throughout the internship program
• Candidates must be from Australian or New Zealand Universities
• Have no more than 2 years relevant work experience

• Candidates are advised to provide a complete Cv which outlines the required requirements(Example: Citizenship/PR status, Current/Latest Weighted Average Mark or Grade Point Average score/ Education Background/Work experiences)
