As the Diversity Engagement Partner you will have the opportunity to work with the People and Culture Team, as well as the Asia Pacific Diversity and Inclusion Team. 

Your role and responsibilities will include:   
            Strategy and Analytics:
  • Set the strategy to increase representation and drive engagement for the respective diverse constituencies specific to market (women, PwD, LGBT and Indigenous groups in ANZ)
  • Own diversity analytics and data; Based on core and predictive analytics, develop recommendations and road maps
  • Work with the ES&D leader to drive and be accountable for name level action plans to drive outcomes for the BU/market, on gender diversity
  • Partner with Recruiting to ensure there is sufficient pipeline of diverse candidates across the business units/market to achieve desired growth objectives
  • Partner with Talent/ LD stakeholders to follow through on action plans to identify /grow / develop diverse talent
  • Lead the indigenous Inclusion strategy and actions for market
  • Implement/Execute programmatic interventions to: 1. increase our brand strength in the marketplace 2. offer programs and initiatives to identify, grow and develop the diverse talent in the market, 3. enhance engagement to be the market leaders.
  • Collaborate with and influence BU Line Leadership to ensure all diversity programs have strong organizational sponsorship
  • Lead key external relationships with academia, industry associations,  to drive IBM’s ‘employer of choice’ brand, and leverage partnerships on employee skill development and industry eminence.
  • Lead and manage Strategic Investment/GWLF budget
  • Outcomes / Accountability include awards in the external marketplace, key internal and external stakeholder management (staying current with what's new, innovative etc) offerings within IBM that have significantly contributed to the identification or progression of diverse talent
  • Develop and implement programs to increase PwD representation in market
  • Influence HR and line stakeholders. 
  • Where there is a compliance change, or an innovative approach to enhance / pivot on a compliance issue – partner within regional Compliance leader, ES&D as well as across legal and HR. Outcomes / accountability include audits, EO reviews, etc.
  • Subject matter expertise updated on relevant societal and political changes that influence IBM’s compliance posture. Will be educated on future trends, and educate others to stay proactively ahead of those changes in the market.
Ideally you will have the following: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6-8 years HR/Diversity and Inclusion experience in a major corporate
  • Experience in formulating Reconciliation Action Plans (RAP) and driving indigenous inclusion strategy in Australia; exposure to all other aspects of driving diversity: women, PwD, LGBT and cross- generational
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication
  • Strong project management and execution skills
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders on desired outcomes
  • Eminence representing organizations on D&I in the marketplace and liaisoning with external entities to drive market wide programs and initiatives for women, PwD, LGBT, aging workforce and others.  
You will report into the People and Culture Leader, ANZ and functionally the Regional AP Diversity and Inclusion Leader
