We are seeking a Cognitive Claims Leader who will be part of our Cognitive delivery engagements across Australia and New Zealand
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead pre-sales activities, assessments and the delivery of the solution
  • Establish and maintain deal focused trusted relationships with clients and partners to scope, solution, propose, close and deliver complex projects
  • Business case development, project and program management, business development, proposal writing and management
  • Hands-on development of deliverables utilising formal structured methodology
  • Present IBM's Cognitive Strategy and Industry Point of View to CXO level client executives
  • Lead client workshops to help our clients understand the benefits of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Computing in Claims, implementation options, change management and business process impact
  • Assist in the growth and development of the practice providing hands-on leadership and direction, contribute to the growth of intellectual capital and support the development of other consultants through mentoring and/or coaching activities
Our opportunities are in Cognitive Computing to provide business insights to IBM clients through innovative solutions and services for unstructured data using IBM's Cognitive approach. You will need the following capabilities to allow you to work with IBM’s Watson:
  • National language processing by helping to understand the complexities of unstructured data
  • Hypothesis generation and evaluation by applying advanced analytics to weigh and evaluate a panel of responses based on only relevant evidence
  • Dynamic learning by helping to improve learning based on outcomes to get smarter with each iteration and interaction. This combination delivers a powerful solution:
    • To move beyond the constraints of programmatic computing
    • To move from reliance on structured, local data to unlock the world of global unstructured data
    • To move from decision tree-driven, deterministic applications to probabilistic systems that coevolve with their users
    • To move from keyword-based search to an intuitive, conversational means of discovering a set of confidence - ranked responses. If your experience is with unstructured data and advanced analytics; ability to apply semantic correlation, ontology and text analytics techniques and systems to analyze non- structured data and identify critical insights for overall business analytics across various domains. Experience in analyzing text, streams, documents, social media, speech and video with emerging Hadoop- based big data, NoSQL, National Language Processing, Search and Text analytics technologies and techniques. Possess solid skills in Java or C++ development and a good understanding of working with Hadoop, Artificial Intelligence or other cognitive computing technology.
The Candidate shall:
  • Possess required skills and education/ Bachelor degree required.
  • At least 3 years experience in implementing Artificial Intelligence or other cognitive computing technology.
  • At least 3 years experience in one or more specific solutions in the Claims domain
  • Experience in a services organization in a consultative selling role
  • Experience with technology driven change, analytics / business applications and program management of large scale transformations
  • Experience of solution mapping across Cloud, Analytics and Mobility based offerings to define end to end solutions
  • Maintain and grow a working knowledge of technology innovation trends and the applicability of practices to the implementation of such technologies as Blockchain, Cognitive and Advanced Analytics.
Expect interstate and international travel, including sustained periods of Fly-in/Fly-out (FIFO) engagements within Australia, estimated to be up to 70% of the year.
