IBM is the global leader in the development of Intelligent Automation combining Cognitive solutions with Robotic Process Automation to create a new and existing acceleration in the application of robotics across the enterprise.
 
Our fast-growing Cognitive Enterprise Automation practice is where we bring together the best of IBM technology in cloud, cloud-native development, cognitive computing and robotics to solve business problems for our enterprise clients.
 
As a Solution Leader for this practice, you work across the IBM organisation to lead and manage the technical effort in building innovative solution designs for enterprise level automation.  Appling global best practices and architectures you will collaborate with our clients to understand architectural requirements (integration, security etc.), develop an automation solution, define and deliver Proof of Concepts and oversee the scale-out of automation at an enterprise level.

Responsibilities
 
  • Proven ability to articulate and deliver compelling, industry focused, technical solutions.
  • Architect and Design automation strategies at the enterprise level with the client
  • Successful track record and experience leading technical projects.
  • Proven ability to drive engagement across business development, sales and technical delivery.
  • A strength in collaboration with the ability to assume the technical leadership role in a cross-skilled team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills at all levels of an organization.
  • Driven and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to excellence in everything they do.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships with peers and clients.
     
Basic Qualifications
  • In-depth IT Architecture skills specialising in cloud, integration and security.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in developing solution requirements and architectural decisions.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in designing, architecting, and implementing solutions.
  • Strong knowledge in leading the architectural direction in multi-skilled and cross functional teams.
 
 
Desirable
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence or machine learning based technologies.
  • Experience of building roadmaps for large clients aiming to adopt an AI/Robotics strategy.
  • Experience in robotic technologies
Based in Melbourne you will be a self-starter, entrepreneurial, creative problem solver, have a strong work ethic, have a sound knowledge of the automation market and have significant experience as a technology leader, be independent, but also able to work as part of a larger team and know how to navigate a corporate business (externally and internally)
