The Role

You will join an energetic and passionate team of ambassadors who are the face of Grand Hyatt Melbourne. As the face of Grand Hyatt Melbourne, you will be the first to warmly welcome and farewell our guests. As a natural leader, you will work hand in hand with the Front Office team to ensure that our busy lobby is managed effectively.

 

Day to Day


As a Team Leader – Front Office, you will be responsible for the following:

  • To manage and lead a team of Front Office Hosts
  • To provide a memorable and seamless check in/out experience for all guests
  • To act as a mentor and to provide training to new team members
  • To handle guests complaints in an efficient manner

The Successful Candidate will have:     

  • At least 2 years experience leading a busy Front Desk environment in a 5 star establishment
  • An ability to work efficiently and professionally under pressure
  • Availability to work a rotating roster including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Experience in using the Opera program
