Award-winning luxury hotel, Park Hyatt Melbourne seeks an experienced, customer focused & proactive Food & Beverage professional to demonstrate their leadership skills in the Event Service department on a full-time basis.
 
With the support of the Manager – Event Service, you will assist with the efficient running of the department according to the established brand standards of Hyatt International, providing courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times to guests. Further duties include the planning of rosters, delegation of tasks and responsibilities to staff and overseeing their performance while assisting them in their duties and ensuring all employees deliver the brand promise.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous supervisory/managerial experience in a similar role and fast-paced environment.
  • A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
  • A local certificate in food handling and hygiene (will be of advantage).
  • Exceptional people management and interpersonal skills along with strong communication (both written & verbal) skills.
  • The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • A strong attention to detail and the desire to produce high quality operational and administrative outcomes.
  • The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of five star grooming standards.
  • The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
