Reporting to the Executive Chef you will assist in the overall management and leadership of the production kitchen, ensuring all standards and procedures are met resulting in consistency, quality and profitability. 
 
The production team are capable of catering to over 3000 covers per day in a variety of events with a variety of cuisine! This exciting role is responsible for supervision, training, development and coordination of the kitchen brigade as well as effective communication and liaison with other departments. You will ensure memorable guest experiences through using your extensive knowledge of international cuisine and culinary creativity.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a creative culinary team and ensure that consistency and high quality products are prepared in accordance with the hotels expectations. We are looking for a well rounded Chef that is ready to lead our kitchen brigade. 
  • Current experience as a Jnr Sous or Sous Chef in a 4/5 star hotel (or similar) environment
  • Proven knowledge & experience in all operational and functional aspects of kitchen operations
  • Sound knowledge of Kitchen P&L including labour and food costs
  • Proven leadership abilities including fostering an open and supportive environment where associates can have fun, take pride in their work and reach their potential.
  • A positive, proactive approach and demonstrated enthusiasm.
  • The drive to challenge yourself daily and deliver the very best.
