 Key duties:

  • Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs utilising the Skakomat (or similar) Batch program
  • Assist with management of the day-to-day administration of the Concrete Batch Plant including stock control of raw materials
  • Batching of the correct concrete mix and allocating delivery to set workstations to ensure the smooth operation
  • Participate as team member responsible for managing the day to day activities of a concrete batching plant
  • General plant housekeeping and cleaning maintenance

Skills and experience:

  • Relevant batching and/or concrete industry experience is essential
  • A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus
  • A front end loader ticket is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills along with sound computer literacy
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday and on shifts when required
  • A proven ability to work within efficiently unsupervised 
  • An attitude and commitment that will fit a highly motivated team environment
  • A proven ability to multitask and work in high pressure situations
  • A proven track record for working in team based environments.
