About the role

As Sales Manager you will be required to maximize opportunities with existing Clients, promote the organisation to new Clients, manage & develop existing staff to improve capability & directly assist the Management Team in navigating a highly competitive market. 

  • Develop & maintain a quantifiable sales plan that is aligned to the strategic business objectives delivering the allocated budget & sales targets.
  • Identify engineered solutions to major projects
  • Negotiation and presentations at senior level
  • Manage, lead & coach a high performing sales team, using tools such as Salesforce (CRM)
  • Maintain & enhance positive working relationships with assigned customers to build customer loyalty & maximise future business opportunities.
  • Provide accurate & timely forecasts of future demand & communicate market intelligence to optimize customer contact plans.
  • Develop & maintain positive working relationships within the business. 
  • Manage a small Customer Service Team

About you

You are someone who is passionate about driving sales performance & have gained practical skills & knowledge in developing the capability of sales teams in the past.    

You may have an established network within the built environment sector but if not you definitely know how to engender solid business relationships & have the ability to close down leads & build long term accounts.   

You will know how to balance the immediate demands of meeting monthly targets with the long term strategy of building a strong brand & sales capability.
