About the role

Based in Norwest, you will be responsible for assisting the team to achieve sales targets for our Value Added Products range by developing and maintaining relationships with clients and other influencers  to source new business and expand on existing business by uncovering needs and developing effective solutions

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Identify new business, product and/or project opportunities
  • Promote the product range to maximise up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop solutions that add value to our customers and provide points of differentiation
  • Monitor market changes, trends and competitor activity (direct and indirect)
  • Work collaboratively with the wider sales team (locally and nationally) to achieve aims

About you

This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in a similar role within the building materials industry or related environment to join us in this high profile position.

You will also need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction or Materials Science
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high value accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decision makers
  • Ability to uncover customer needs and develop appropriate solutions
  • Experience building long term business relationships
  • Positive, resilient and goal orientated approach
