About the role

Based at our Tynong site this role will motivate and drive our production team to achieve company safety, environmental and financial targets.

You will be responsible for assisting the quarry manager in producing products that are fit for purpose, meet business forecasts and customer expectations.

About you

You will ideally come from a similar role within a quarrying/mining environment managing crushing, screening or a large process plant. You will have demonstrated experience leading, training and coaching a multi discipline team.

The position will assist the Quarry Manager with management duties including performance development and management of supervisors and operators, providing workflow and process direction, contractor and customer communications, site audits, general maintenance and upkeep of the quarry.

You will also need

  • Currently studying or completed degree in engineering, construction or related; and/or relevant quarry supervision accreditation such as Diploma in Extractive Industries or similar
  • Exceptional leadership ability
  • Working knowledge of Safety Management Systems
  • Be reliable, motivated and be able to work under pressure and changing priorities
