About the role

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager - Northern Region you will be responsible for the overall operation of the Humes precast and prestress concrete manufacturing plant.

You will play a vital role in ensuring high standards of safety and quality throughout the facility whilst ensuring financial budgets and efficiency targets are met.

Leading a large team, you will need to guide and develop staff while maintaining good employee relations that encourage productivity, motivation and positive morale.

Further to this you will need to effectively managing both internal and external stakeholder relationships to successfully achieve desired outcomes.

About you

Having experience in a similar senior operations role you will have a highly developed understanding of manufacturing processes.

With a strong leadership background, you will have demonstrated success in driving targeted safety behaviours to achieve zero harm within a similar environment.

With the ability to manage costs and achieve budgets you will be highly disciplined with a natural drive to set the best standards.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or business are highly desirable while previous experience with precast and/or prestressed concrete products would be an advantage.
