Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) (www.hcma.com.au) is a global brand providing a variety of machinery for the construction and mining industries.

The Brisbane Reman centre currently has a fulltime position for an Assistant Technical Report Writer. This position will suit a Tradesperson looking for a career change, in this position you will compile and manage component failure reports.

Reporting to the Reman Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Compiling and publishing detailed technical reports relating to our Remanufactured components for internal and external customers.
  • Maintain a failure mode register for all Reman components and Technical component Reports.
  • Conduct & document detailed failure analysis investigations and compile accurate and factual failure analysis reports.
  • Facilitate the development in maintaining Technical Report Request Register to ensure Report requests are actioned in a timely manner.

To be successful in this challenging role, preferred that you will possess:

  • Mechanical Trade qualification.
  • Strong Technical background preferably with earthmoving equipment
  • Excellent report writing ability including sound knowledge of Failure Analysis processes
  • Detailed understanding of manufacturing processes within engineering and earthmoving industries
  • Excellent communication and computer skills including MS Word & Excel

 

***Technical experience of Hitachi Excavators will be highly regarded***
