If you are our Field Support Engineer in Melbourne, you will have an opportunity to:-

  • Provide onsite contractual support for designated Pagewide Web Press Printer customers including, but not limited to, break fix, preventive maintenance and professional consulting.  
  • Fulfil HP-customer service contracts
  • Assist the Country manager and ASM in their overall responsibilities.      
  • Respond to assignments by PWP Call center, country manager and direct calls from the customer 
  • Communicate with internal and external PWP support levels in accordance with the Escalations Management Process: Call Center, regional Tier 3 team, etc…
  • Be responsible for onsite technical activities including escalations
  • Be responsible for timely performance of maintenance routines
  • Assist customer/s with achieving operational excellence
  • Assume responsibility for professional troubleshooting, minimizing customer’s downtime and HP costs
  • Manage onsite inventory, responsible for timely replenishment
  • Operate as customers satisfaction catalyst – alert and anticipates potential problems
  • Regular shift work  

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Engineering & industry background and experience. Understanding of digital printing / inkjet technology in particular – strong advantage
  • Strong technical & troubleshooting skills
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Customer facing experience
  • Self-disciplined, ability to work independently with no close supervision
  • Proactive with good attention to detail
  • Comfortable with English – verbal and written skills are must
