We are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Operations Data Management Analyst to work in a small team designing, maintaining, developing and interrogating databases in support of our sales team providing significant input for business planning activities. You will work closely with business leaders on analytical tools, models and methods to assist the business in making key planning decisions. This role will actively collaborate between Business and Technology, establishing relationships and fostering a data management culture focusing on data quality and insight.

If you are our Senior Business Operations Data Management Analyst you will have an opportunity to:-

  • Develops recommendations from complex data and business analyses and formulate them into business plans
  • Code applications with VBA and generate reports within Excel and Power BI
  • Access and manipulate data including extracting data from source systems, and transforming the data for Excel, Access and PowerBI
  • Develop and maintain VBA source code for various applications
  • Design, maintain, develop and interrogate SQL and Access databases
  • Undertake data analysis, problem analysis and troubleshooting
  • Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance, and recommend the go- forward strategy to address performance gaps.
  • Recommending approaches for developing creative IT solutions

To be successful in this role you will need:-

  • Advanced MS skills (Excel/Access/VBA/PowerPoint) are essential
  • Proficiency with BI, reporting and visualization tools (such as Power BI)
  • Solid capability with database development in SQL, ETL and query optimization
  • Ability to build and maintain an Access database that can cleanse, transform, validate and analyse data that has been extracted from multiple sources
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to successfully work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills
  • Extensive knowledge of how to analyze business problems using Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including influencing skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
