About the Role
The Workers Compensation Claims Manager will manage a small portfolio of claims while leading a team and ensuring delivery of best practice claims management aligned to our strategic and operational goals. Customer centricity is a key value for us, as such this role will be responsible for ensuring behaviors are aligned to exceptional customer experience both internal and externally.

To be successful in this role, your planning and leadership skills will demand that are a role model in living the values and coaching the teams on delivering to performance indicators. As a subject matter expert in Workers Compensation Claims, you will support the Head of Workers Compensation in building and implementing best practice strategy for the function as well as marketing our value proposition to our customers. Operational excellence and staying abreast of the regulatory trends and changes, in a proactive and forward thinking way will be integral to this role.

About You
You have experience in a similar leadership role demonstrating your knowledge and application of NSW Workers Compensation legislation, Acts and Guidelines affecting Worker Compensation. Significant hands on experience in claims management and working with cross functional teams are an important part of your career to date.

Qualifications in NSW Worksafe or Workers Compensation related courses would be essential for this role. Your appetite for continuous learning will be reflected through learning you may have sought in the Insurance industry as well as Business and or Allied Health area.
