Want to have more say in patient, client and staff management?

  • Do you enjoy delivering the best patient, client care and want to be part of a friendly, dynamic team working in a well-equipped clinic?
  • Do you seek professional growth and development, with support and encouragement from Australia’s largest pet care company?

Our Nedlands clinic opened last year and is already building a great reputation in the community. We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic Practice Manager to drive our landmark clinic forward.

With lovely patients to care for, a team to develop, customer service expectations to exceed and a business to build - this isn’t a role for the feint-hearted! On top of exceptional clinical skills, we are looking for a switched-on, positive team player with a ‘’can-do’’ attitude and a strong desire for success.

We require:

  • Previous experience as a Vet Nurse (essential);
  • Relevant experience in team management, with strong leadership and team building skills, and the ability to build a positive culture in your team;
  • Exceptional organisation and strategic planning skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Good business acumen and initiative;
  • Experience with Rx works preferred but not essential;
  • An eagerness to grow oneself and help others develop.

There is a high level of accountability to this role, as you would be responsible for all the clerical and administrative duties of the business, reporting back to our senior management team via your local Area Manager. You will be well supported at a national level by a highly trained support team and locally supported by several other Greencross clinics in Western Australia.

This role would consist primarily of:

  • Managing the day to day operations of our clinic, such as stock management, rosters, client records and communications, and meeting monthly KPI’s;
  • Delivering outstanding service and care to all patients and owners;
  • Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre-and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care;
  • Driving our business forward through creating and implementing local marketing initiatives;
  • Skilfully leading and developing our team with confidence and compassion, and ensuring that the Greencross values are adhered to.

We also offer industry-leading internal education programs, extra study leave and a huge network of highly skilled practitioners and managers.
