The Role 
A fixed-term opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Client Relationship Manager to focus on driving our relationship management program as well as influence the strategic direction and growth for our South Queensland business. Reporting to the South Queensland Business Development Manager, you will be working closely with our leadership team taking a strategic view of client engagement and business development opportunities (communications, events and sponsorships etc.) across the business. 

Key responsibilities include: 
  • Work with Relationship Managers and Market Leaders on developing and implementing strategies to increase revenues, and profitability for key client relationships 
  • Support Relationship Managers to develop client plans and maintain active Client Engagement Teams 
  • Work with Relationship Managers to identify and manage business development opportunities that build relationships with clients 
  • Coach Relationship Managers and other senior managers on relevant aspects of client engagement and client relationship management 
  • Drive and influence the firm''s Client Engagement Teams, including appropriate tools, skills and behaviours, to achieve revenue targets 
  • Prepare content and materials for the key client relationship management program 
  • Assist with client research and opportunity identification 

To be successful in this role you will need:  
  • Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment in a Client Relationship or Business Development capacity 
  • Strong understanding of the Queensland economy and its key markets 
  • Well practiced influencing skills with a track record of driving successful, strategic initiatives 
  • Ability to empower, motivate and provide clear strategic direction and insights to team members undertaking proposals and project activities 
  • Experience coaching and mentoring stakeholders at all levels within an organisation
