Due to an internal promotion, our Investment Property line of business is currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join the team based onsite at 357 Collins Street, Melbourne. Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, the Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative support to the onsite Management team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service to the asset owners.

As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, audits and reconciliations
  • In conjunction with the Senior Property Manager, managing and monitoring rental payments and conducting rental reviews
  • Developing an understanding of systems and assisting with reviewing and approving purchase orders and invoices
  • Preparation and management of invoices and payments
  • Following up with vendors (invoice queries)
  • Lease administration
  • Responding and coordinating requests for maintenance to maintenance requests
  • Coordinating and undertaking regular inspections with the Building Manager
  • Managing all retail tenants and communication as required
  • Preparing monthly reports on such items including tenant issues, financial data, details of defects within the building

As the ideal applicant you will possess:

  • A current Agents Representative licence
  • Experience in the real estate industry, legal field or related field
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of computer software particularly MRI, SAP or other accounting related software (highly advantageous)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for developing a career in the property industry
