Moneywise Global is currently recruiting a talented and motivated Financial Adviser to join its Sydney-based team.  Moneywise Global is a division of the Flight Centre Travel Group and was established 22 years ago to offer a unique staff benefit to 10,400 Flight Centre employees. Every year we help thousands of employees achieve their personal financial goals by providing expert financial advice, tax services and home loan broking services.

About the Role
As a Financial Adviser and member of the Moneywise Global Team, you will report directly to the State Leader, meaning you will be hands on and involved in building and growing the business! In your position you’ll be providing Flight Centre Travel Group employees with financial advice and recommendations according to their current situation, future goals and objectives. You’ll also work closely with our Travel Tax experts and Financial Advisers to ensure that our clients are provided with a more holistic approach.

About the successful candidate:
You'll be tertiary qualified, hold an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent, fulfil the TASA requirement and have a minimum 3 years current financial advice experience. 

You’ll also possess a high level understanding of the financial advice process including:  
  • Superannuation / Defined Benefits / Retirement Analysis (TTR)
  • Personal Risk Analysis (Include Life, TPD, Income Protection and Trauma)
  • Tax and Estate Planning Strategies
  • Entity Structures such as Companies, Trusts & Superannuation Funds
  • Wealth Creation/Gearing
  • Debt Management & Reduction Strategies
  • Financial planning software packages, such as Xplan would be seen as favourable.
In addition to your practical financial advice experience, you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client relationship building and high attention to detail. This, combined with your ability to meet deadlines, establish priorities, multi task and manage work flow will set you up for success in this role.
