About the role
This newly formed role will join the NSW Operations team in providing leadership and support to Estia's Greater Sydney portfolio. Supporting homes by providing leave coverage, additional operational support and guidance through periods of change, the successful candidate will be an experienced Facility Manager (Director of Nursing) who is looking for a new challenge in a role that is fast paced and has variety. The ability to travel between sites within the Greater Sydney Region is a must.

Successful applicants will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in management, with at least 2 years' experience at Facility Manager level
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in aged care
  • Staff management skills including recruitment, performance management and rostering
  • Commitment to quality and a broad knowledge of all facets of contemporary aged care including ACFI funding and Accreditation
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with a wide range of systems
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible to changing priorities and environment.
  • Registered Nurse qualification and current APHRA registration
